Hasn’t everyone been curious about getting naked in front of a camera or some wannabe artists? Is it something that you would do? Become a life model then!
Surely it has to be easier for girls to do than guys due to the (eh hem) ‘equipment’ that guys have? Perhaps they make the rooms especially cold for the guys too.
Life modelling is often needed on art courses at universities or at colleges. This isn’t a chance to be sexually explicit, this is a time for you to stand there, naked for a few hours.
It’s usually good money as it’s quite a niche job and not many people want to do it. If you’re a complete exhibitionist and don’t mind letting it all hang out – it could be for you!
So what do I have to do to become a life model?
All you need to do is hold a pose. All shapes and sizes are required, you don’t have to be super skinny or anything to be a life model. Start making enquiries at local colleges or art venues.
What might you earn? The average wage of a life model in London is £12 p/h. Of course, wages vary depending where you work so go out and play life model naked detective!
