Make it a frugal summer!       

Getting a summer job can help improve your CV and boost your income when your student loan runs out.

You really have 3 options:

• Go back to your home town and work (this will save you money on rent)

• Stay in your Uni town and work (more freedom from parents!)

• Work abroad with Camp America or a similar program

Home Town

If you're going back home then keep in contact with previous jobs you may have had and say you want to work again. If you didn't have a job then plan in advance! Go home a few weeks early and put your CV and covering letter into a few places.

Uni Town

Working Abroad

This needs planning way in advance! You'll also need some money upfront because it's not cheap to do this. You'll likely need to have had a part time job whilst at University or some rich parents. Please don't discount this option because it's more expensive because, 1. It is the most fun option, 2. It will look best on your CV.
