Getting a summer job can help improve your CV and boost your income when your student loan runs out.
You really have 3 options:
Home Town
If you're going back home then keep in contact with previous jobs you may have had and say you want to work again. If you didn't have a job then plan in advance! Go home a few weeks early and put your CV and covering letter into a few places.
Try:
Uni Town
Staying in your Uni town? Then get searching for jobs in the local newspaper or do what we say on this page - and go and apply for jobs that aren't even in the paper. Put your CV into agencies who will try and find you a job, also look for jobs in your Uni jobshop.
Try using:
Working Abroad
This needs planning way in advance! You'll also need some money upfront because it's not cheap to do this. You'll likely need to have had a part time job whilst at University or some rich parents. Please don't discount this option because it's more expensive because, 1. It is the most fun option, 2. It will look best on your CV.
Here are some options:

Going abroad will expand your mind, expand your CV and bring new friends and people into your life. What could be better?
