Quick Start Money Guide.

This is a quick start guide to saving money at uni. They are what we would call the ESSENTIALS to get in the right mindset for putting more money in the bank.

1.  Sort your CV. Start approaching companies you want to work for and tell them why you are so good. Failing this, put your CV into as many agencies and job opportunities as possible.

We thoroughly advise doing what it says on this page. You need to get some income coming in.

2. Open a savings account. Why? Well, even if you don't have a job you can put your overdraft in this bank using internet banking and earn up to £100 just in interest over the year.

Better than that, a savings account gets you in the mindset to save. Stores as much money in there as possible. Pretend you are a hamster, storing away precious things for the winter (but your winter is after uni is over).

3. Read our book. Shameless plug I know. But there is good advice in the middle part of the book and it's a pretty funny read too. Check out the flirting tips!

Just sign up on the email above. We'll also send you an email every other Wednesday with the latest free stuff and other deals.

4. Change your mindset. As mentioned above, saving is all about the way you think about money. You must put money as one of the most important things to organise when you are a student.

You need to know what is coming in and what is going out. Make a decent budget planner and stick to it. Value each and every pound you have - spend them wisely.
