The world gets a little crazier
Thursday, October 30th, 2008I’m not sure what journalists and the BBC are taking at the moment. From two weeks of credit crunch, recession, credit crunch to a whole weeks coverage of Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross’s answerphone messages. Deary me, the world gets a little crazier.
Yes what they did is probably a bit silly but it’s not headline news. There is so much deforestation and ecological problems to worry about that I can’t believe this is given more than 2 minutes of headlines. The ecological crunch dwarfs our banking crisis and it’s not even being talked about! It makes me crazy.
The media should be more controlled by the government on its priorities. The media has too much say on what our subconscious minds are concentrated on. If we were thinking about more positive things, more ways to save the world, it would be a different world we lived in.
We could focus on making some real changes to peoples lives, changes to the environment and even changes to our economy. Instead, we are bombarded with negative news. My advice is to ignore it all, switch off your TV’s and make a difference on your own.
